Hi Wynwood,
I see you've adjusted the shoreline on Bornholm some time ago.
It looks like you maybe smoothed away some coastline features that actually exist... For example the gorge around www.openstreetmap.org/node/6690250564, appears to have been removed completely in the changeset diff https://osmhv.openstreetmap.de/changeset.jsp?id=101049384.
For coastline and waterway adjustment in Denmark I can highly recommend the lidar-based 'SDFE Terrain Shadow Map (40 cm)' available in JOSM. In my experience this layer provides much better resolution for shore geometry than aerial imagery. Especially in cases like this where steep cliffs obscure aerial imagery (or when trees do the same). Maybe you can inform the rest of the #adt of this layer, in case it is not already well known.
It seems to me, from the SDFE terrain layer, that the coastline bends into the mentioned gorge to some extend, so I'll try to make OSM reflect that.
Cheers

Hi antonr, Thanks for letting me know & adding more details to the coastline. I agree with the usage of the SDFE terrain map & will ensure to use it effectively, especially for aligning coastlines near cliffs. Happy mapping!
