I'm disappointed.
you edited in Finland and in Spain just to create a big bounding box surrounding half of the Europe.
Please, for now, don't edit in 2 places. -

Hello.
This was clearly not my intention.
Didn't know that using this app "streetcomplete" would create this kind of changeset combination...
But I need to ask why you are disappointed, what difference this makes?
Where this box can be seen elsewhere than when opening this changeset?
And maybe someone should mention this to the app developer, I am sure this could be prevented in the app, with some programming.
From my part I can undo this if it is possible and makes any difference. Any idea how?
If you have time, tell me how it goes. -

SC tells the user to 'complete' where they are 'surveying', not where they were during the last vacation ;o). The nature of the beast is that it will come all edits of the same type consecutively i.e. surface and surface and surface. Set to auto save and map varying things and chances are things get split. When I use it I force reporting while on the move and even then same items get combined causing boxes villages apart. SC does so, level 0 editor does so too, so just don't is the advise and many will thank you who're only interested to see a history list end edit boxes that are relevant to their area.

Good comment #SekeRob.
I already sent note to SC developer about the issue.
But anyways, I promise to keep it local, one place at the time ;)
Thanks -

Hey Ramil, author of StreetComplete here. You sent me an email about this. It's basically what SekeRob wrote:
StreetComplete quests should only be solved on-site. For editing on the computer, there are better (i.e. more efficient) tools. The app also tells you this when you try to solve a quest more than 50m or so away from your location and lets you confirm that indeed you checked it on-site.
This is to ensure that the data contributed with the app is of the highest quality: If you just checked something on-site, we can be sure it is this way, but if you just remember it (from your last vacation etc), you might misremember it, everyone might. Now, in general, regardless of the map editor you use, it's not so good to group changes into one changeset that are geographically very far apart. Why? Because some people monitor a feed of changes in their area to help and resolve possible mistakes that are made by other (new) mappers. SekeRob maps in a small town on the east coast of Italia. Now, this changeset appeared in his feed, because it geographically spans so wide that it basically appears in everyone's feed in ~central Europe. This is because what changeset appears in whose feed is calculated not by the closest map data element changed, but whether the bounds of the changeset intersect with the area of interest - a simplification and performance improvement in implementation.
So for everyone who is notified of a new change in the area, it may take a moment to realize that after all, the changes are not relevant for his or her area, which is an inconvenience for those and thus should be avoided to be considerate of other mappers.

Can this be undone? :(
Just testing the app. And for my defense i know the place very well...

It can't, but hey, it's not big deal, just small, one-time inconvenience for other mappers. Thank you for your contributions and keep going! Greetings from Poland ;)

It IS a deal when confronted with these a dozen times a day, and 90% always seem to come from the same corner on this planet. Maybe this could be made a talking point at the local chapters of OSM contributors. A permanent footnote on every wiki page. "Map Local in a session, map within your borders. U Too!"

Hey Ramil, sorry if it came across as rude, I just wanted to explain it in detail. I also think it is no big deal
Cheers
