Found the footings this morning while removing invasive species. Checked on National Library of Scotland map images. Confirmed as former boathouse. Not present on earlier map so date from after 1865 but before 1915.

Visited site. Some boulders but none obviously significant. Location commands gentle natural amphitheatre so may have been a preaching location.
