Have you seen Waymarkedtrails http://cycling.waymarkedtrails.org/en/?zoom=4&lat=65.06909&lon=-19.89416&hill=0 Even at low resolutions, even a short speck of a “national” route in Iceland is visible. And the site offers maps for Mountainbiking as well as commuting/touring. The people at openpistemap might get some inspirartion there. It seems so far they do not show Cross-country pistes ? - Morten
