Studied forest and nature management, first experience with GIS systems (De grote VerGISsing, dutch pun). Made a career in the software industry as a software tester and QA engineer, which also involved GIS systems from time to time.

Active in nature preservation as a volunteer.

Was fed up with sending correction requests to the Dutch cadastre (which publishes the dutch topographical maps) and decided to take matters into my own hands and joined the OSM community.

Maps predominantly in the Dutch Veluwe and Geldersche Vallei, most work is focussed on nature and waterways.
