I disagree with this movement. I'm a native of Las Piñas and the city hall compound is not as "central" or "important" as you may think. The poblacion area is culturally significant (Bamboo Organ Church) and is the centerpiece of the Las Piñas historic corridor.
As for Parañaque, the city hall location is even worse than your proposed Las Piñas' location which at least is along a major road. P'que's city hall is tucked inside a very residential area and is hardly the place where people think of when they hear "Parañaque". A place along Sucat Road would have been slightly better, but there's no obvious "central" place there. So the poblacion area, which is the cultural center of the city, and where the cathedral of the Diocese of Parañaque is located, where the Ospital ng Parañaque is located, and where major schools are found is a better choice.
