Hi lks90
I think you did a bit to much. If I understand that right, you need to ad the kerb-tag only to the nod where the two roads cross:

Hey there! Might be possible, I used this as a reference (without the traffic signal):
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Crossing_four-way_intersection_combination.png
They had the kerb markers at the curb of the road, that's why I did it like that.
Höglerstrasse had sidewalks marked on both sides and paths for the sidewalks mapped additionally. I tried to bring some consistency to it.

I checked out the intersection on the picture. It looks a bit different by now. and there is no more separate kerb-tag.

I think this needs some discussions on the wiki-pages -

And I read a bit more: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:kerb
Here it says: ' If the kerb is identical on both sides of a crossing, it is possible to add the kerb=* tag to the highway=crossing node, which sacrifices accuracy for simplicity'
As I understand it from the second example, if you map the exact position of the kerb, only use the tag kerb:*
the crossing-tag should be used only on the crossing-node -

I have made a new change with your suggested simplifications:

Feel free to comment there or here :).

The new change is just focused on one crossing, I'd clean up the other ones as well if we can agree on a layout on this one first.

I suggest you change the other intersections the same way.

I also stumbled over this:Won't change things until they come to some conclusion.
