Hello, I'm curious why this was tagged as layer -1? https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/453027244
The wiki says, "the building and the way should have shared nodes at the entry and exit points of the building.
the way is split at the entry and exit nodes and only the part covered by the building is tagged with tunnel=building_passage.
the layer should be the same as the layer of the building, with the above mentioned exception when several tunnels are passing on different levels. So if the building doesn't have a layer tag, the way should not have one either."
Thank you :) -

Hello, again. I'm curious why, network= Regional Transportation District (RTD) and
operator=Regional Transportation District (RTD) were changed to network=RTD and
operator=Regional Transportation District. Is there documentation I can refer to in order to see why this should be changed? Thank you :) -

Regarding the layer=-1 for the tunnel=building_passage section: You are right, it's not necessary most of the time. In this example there are building:part of the Colorade Convention center that are partially crossing the tracks. The layer helps to reliably tell which element is below (tracks in this case).
Regarding the network: The original network name "Regional Transportation District (RTD)" is both full name and abbreviation. I've moved operator to the dedicated tag and use RTD as the network. Probably one could also use "RTD Bus & Rail" or even "TheRide" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTD_Bus_%26_Rail - I've decided for "RTD" since it seems to be the more commonly used branding and logo across.
There is no real documentation on which name to use for the network apart from "use best judgement for what is used on the ground" :P AndI find that a bit challenging in Denver. It's easier e.g. in Paris where it's just called "Paris Metro" or Leipzig where it's "S-Bahn Leipzig".
