I am a motorcycle tours’ guide, and I also design bike trips routes, mostly in India. I tend to ride a maximum on tertiary roads, off-road, pistes etc… For years I have been recording almost every single kilometer on Garmin Montana series units. My contribution to mapping the world but India before all is entirely based on data actually collected in-the-field, on actually ridden roads of all kinds, and I sometimes complete missing portions thanks to satellite imagery. I owe so much to digital maps, GPS systems and satellite imagery that I’ve decided in 2021 to start give back, hence my contributions to OSM.
